Drinking water hygiene
Sampling and microbiological testing of drinking water samples according to an agreed scope of testing.
Drinking water testing for hygiene assessment
Drinking water is subject to stringent hygiene requirements. Depending on how it is used, the type of building, the drinking water installation and the testing objective, different microbiological tests may be required or appropriate.
Our laboratory supports you with the sampling and testing of drinking water. Available microbiological parameters include colony counts at 22 °C and 36 °C, Escherichia coli, coliform bacteria, intestinal enterococci, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Legionella spp.
The specific scope of testing depends on the testing objective, the drinking water installation and the applicable requirements. Where needed, we can help you identify suitable tests for your situation.
